Agri-food equipment leasing support program

The main goal of the agri-food sector equipment leasing support program in the Republic of Armenia is to supply equipment to agri-food sector businesses on affordable terms, in particular through the use of leasing mechanisms, which will create prerequisites for increasing the production volumes of agricultural products and their processed products, ensuring quality and safety requirements in accordance with international standards, increasing competitiveness, increasing export volumes, as well as replacing imported products with local production.

Within the framework of the program, equipment used in the following sectors is provided to entrepreneurs under a leasing contract:

• animal husbandry, including cattle breeding, sheep breeding, pig breeding, poultry breeding, beekeeping, fish breeding, industrial animal husbandry, snail farming,
• plant growing, including greenhouse farming,
• refrigeration industry, including milk collection stations and isothermal tanks transporting milk,
• sorting, packaging and refining of fresh fruits, vegetables and legumes,
• slaughterhouse, mobile and mobile modular slaughterhouses, as well as vehicles for transporting carcasses purchased by the slaughterhouse service provider,
• agro-processing industry,
• other sectors of agri-food activity.
