LESSORS' ASSOCIATION OF ARMENIA

The governing bodies of the Organization are the General Assembly and the President of the Organization.

The Lessors' Association of Armenia was established on July 8, 2021 by the decision of its six founding members, and received state registration on September 27, 2021. The Association, being a representative of the leasing sector of Armenia, aims to unite a number of banks and credit organizations, contributing to sector reforms, legislative changes, and increasing the recognition and awareness of the leasing instrument.

Currently, the Lessors' Association of Armenia is comprised of 15 member financial institutions, which, thanks to their membership, benefit from the opportunities for cooperation, exchange of experience, and initiatives created by the Association, continuously developing and strengthening their positions in the leasing market.

Our mission is to ensure a high level of reliability, develop the leasing market, enhance the efficiency and accessibility of leasing instruments, contribute to legislative changes in the leasing sector, support member financial institutions, expand connections with international organizations in the field, and increase awareness and trust in leasing within the market.

The main objectives of the Association are:

• to represent, guarantee and protect the interests of Armenian lessors in the state policy-making, implementing and other bodies in the fields related to leasing,
• to create the most favorable activity environment for all parties of the leasing transaction, to jointly formulate the problems and to form the approaches and methods of their joint solution for all beneficiaries,
• to increase the knowledge and awareness of the leasing tool, to follow the development trends of the tool in the global market and to transfer and adapt them to the Armenian market,
• to contribute to the provision of a number of tax benefits for Leasing in RA as a tool affecting the increase of the GDP (gross domestic product) level, thereby promoting the development of the RA economy,
• organize trainings and create the latest and innovative products in Armenia in accordance with international trends,
• implement continuous improvements in state subsidy programs, create opportunities to join new funds and programs,
• cover the field, collect and transmit statistical information necessary for market analysis from a narrow professional perspective,
• to contribute to the implementation of projects related to leasing in the Republic of Armenia by international organizations,
• to carry out reforms in the regulation of the leasing sector, to cooperate with state bodies.
